1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Content Seed at thecontentseed.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Content Seed ("we", "us", "our"). Please read them carefully before using the platform.

2. Description of Service

Content Seed is an AI-powered content marketing platform that helps you transform ideas ("nuggets") into platform-ready content for multiple channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, newsletters, and more.

The Service includes content generation using artificial intelligence, content calendar management, campaign organisation, brand voice personalisation, and related tools. We may update, modify, or add new features to the Service at any time.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

When you create an account with Content Seed, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Keep your password secure and confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately at hey@thecontentseed.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• Not share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.

4. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content, ideas, and nuggets that you submit to Content Seed. We do not claim ownership of your content.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This includes sending your content to our AI provider for content generation. This licence ends when you delete your content or close your account.

Content generated by the AI based on your inputs is yours to use. However, please review all AI-generated content before publishing, as you are responsible for any content you choose to publish.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Content Seed uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic) to generate content suggestions based on your inputs. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and suggestion. It may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your needs.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before publishing it to any platform.
• We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be free from errors, bias, or unintended meaning.
• Similar inputs from different users may produce similar or identical outputs. AI-generated content is not guaranteed to be unique.
• We are not liable for any consequences arising from your use or publication of AI-generated content.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Content Seed to:

• Create, store, or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Generate spam, misleading content, or content intended to deceive others.
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law or regulation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these acceptable use terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Content Seed and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

8. Intellectual Property

The Content Seed platform, including its design, logo, code, features, and documentation, is owned by Content Seed and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us or using the account settings within the platform. Upon account closure, we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance where possible.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, liability limitations, and governing law) will remain in effect.

10. Beta Service

Content Seed is currently in beta. This means features may change, be added, or be removed without prior notice. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to develop and improve the platform. During the beta period, the Service may experience downtime, bugs, or other issues. We provide no uptime guarantees during this phase.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. General Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Content Seed regarding the use of the Service.
